100% of your monetary donation is used to help women, men, and children transcend their trauma. Because of people like you, we at NEXTSTEP are able transform the pain of domestic violence into a future of limitless potential, healing, and personal triumph for every individual and family we serve.

Your donation will be used to help survivors in such critical areas as:

• Gift cards (e.g., grocery, gas, pharmacy, stores, etc.)
• Transportation assistance (e.g., bus passes, rideshare credits, etc.);
• Basic needs kits (e.g., hygiene items, diapers, school supplies, etc.);
• Technology access support (e.g., prepaid phones, limited data plans etc.);
• Survivor-designed resource guides
• Indirect support to children through their parent(s) (e.g., school supply kits, clothing vouchers, enrichment materials, etc.).

In accordance with IRS Publication 1771 (Rev. 11-2023), NEXTSTEP must provide donors who contribute $250 or more with a written acknowledgment substantiating the charitable contribution. 

To receive your written acknowledgement for any amount donated to our cause, please email NEXTSTEP at info@nextstep-unlockedpotential.org. In your email, you must include your personal information as you entered it on the donation link https://nup.betterworld.org/campaigns/hero .
